The issues you are pointing out are related to WinDiff.exe rather than RunWinDiff.exe. Re: Display problem and a couple suggestions Nice program but a few tweaks would make it better. Would be good to display this somehow at the top of the window. These are entered one above the other, not right and left. Maybe they are with the source.Īlso not clear which is "right file" and "left file". I didn't read any help files because I didn't find any.
I made it a txt file and notepad display was messy - columns did not line up. Also wasn't clear what format the file was it. I saved the differences to a file but it wasn't clear where the file would be saved so I gave a full path. Was able to fix this fairly easily but would be great if the program checks this location. They were at:Ĭ:\Program Files\Support Tools\windiff.exe I had problems getting it to run at first because I downloaded the tools from MS and apparently they were put in a different place than if they are installed from the CD. I at first thought the program had some other problems when I did this but think it was just display issue. The display from all files was still on the bottom of the screen which was confusing. There were 9 differences so they didn't fill the whole screen. Then unchecked all files to show only differences. I ran this with the default options of showing all files.
